lots on my plate, with a side of criminal justice
i finally was able to start hanging out at the county courthouse to sit in on interesting trials. today, the d.a. and his judges served up steaming piles of justice to a man who allegedly molested his nephew, a man who allegedly impregnated a 12-year-old (possibly his step-daughter) and a man who allegedly stabbed to death his attractive female neighbor. her family was very nice and friendly.
there was also a capital murder case and an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon case going on, but they didn't interest me much. the reason? haven't quite pinned that down yet.
the saga that is wilmer hutchins. an indictment was scheduled to be handed down by the grand jury late this afternoon, but before the close of business day (4:30). i'll have to plug in to the news to see if it ever came down, and who they're indicting.
could be juicy.
i'm going back to court to collect yet another $5 parking receipt for tax write-offs.
tomorrow i'll give you details if there are any sexy ones to give.
